Our Low Voltage Disconnect Relay measures your 12V DC battery or power supply voltage and de-energises the latching relay (used to switch the load) if it falls below a pre-set (adjustable) level.

The Low Voltage Disconnect Relay uses a latching relay and has exceptionally low running current, much lower than cheaper rival products, drawing a miniscule 0.00035 watts in quiescent mode. Left connected, excluding any external or switched loads, the device would take over 15 years to discharge the average car battery!

It's primary duty is to protect the battery from partial or complete discharge and is adjustable over a 10-14 volt range.

The Low Voltage Disconnect Relay is fitted with an on-board single pole latching volt free relay, rated at 15 amps at 12VDC connected to a resistive resistive load. Connections are made to the 4 way terminal block and are clearly labelled.

Two M4 mounting holes are included which fit standard 4mm printed circuit board mounting pillars.

The product is supplied with a two year warranty and a sealed version of this product has been type tested in electric vehicles for several years and has a proven track record for reliability.
