Traction Charging Method.
CBC's Traction chargers deliver current into a battery in several stages. The
initial charging current is at maximum until the battery reaches a specific
potential or a period of time has elapsed. The charging current is then switched down
to 75% of maximum until the battery reaches 2.45 volts per cell.
At this stage, the voltage is reduced to 2.25 volts per cell and
the charging current falls to a maintenace level.
The animation begins with the charger delivering a current limited
a maximum of 10A into a 24V lead-acid battery.
This is the most complex regime designed for deep discharge applications!
