AC Series Dimmers.

Our AC Series Dimmers are designed to provide a brightness control for filament based lead lights, bench lights and inspection lamps used in industrial and automotive repair pits.

The dimmer is connected in series with the supply lead using the flying leads provided. The assembly can either be directly connected to a 3 pin plug and lamp, or a 3 pin socket can be fitted into which, the lamp can be plugged.

Incorporating phase control technology, the dimmer is very efficient and noise suppression is included to prevent radio frequency interference. At 100 watts, it has on operating efficiency of over 98% and runs cool in all operating modes.

Dimmers are available at 110VAC operating over a range of 90-130V, or 230VAC operating over a range of 170-260V. A 100 watt bulb can be dimmed from full brightness to off however we do not recommend using the assembly without a switched mains supply, for safety reasons.
